Her mother, Sandy Markgraf, has given family and the Mitchells Plain Crisis Forum (CF) her blessing to host a birthday party in memory of her little girl.
Stacha was in Grade 7 at Tafelsig Primary and described as a vibrant, respectful child who always had a smile on her face.
Her funeral drew thousands of mourners, and many neighbours who told of how the meisie would make an effort to greet each and everyone.
Joanie Fredericks, of the Mitchells Plain Crisis Forum, says the beautiful girl’s life came to a cruel and abrupt end: “Stacha had a committee [friends] of 15 and they miss her, so [the killer] didn’t only destroy her life, he destroyed their lives.
“Next week she would have been a year older, but [murder suspect Randy Tango] cut her life short, so we are not done yet.”
The Mitchells Plain CF is appealing for assistance to make the party a success.
They hope to cater for between 250 and 300 children.
“Stacha was a child and what do children love – party packets, jumping castles, sweets, chips, cooldrinks,” says Stacha's aunt, Carol Nwoffiah.
“We are trying to secure a local hall. We are appealing for items to fill the party packets with and we would also like to give the children a meal like a hotdog, cool drink and even toys.”
