The klopse are on the march again this Saturday, so dust off your jolling shoes.
At Athlone Stadium, the Kaapse Klopse Karnival Association (KKKA) will have section one of their competition for items Juvenile Combine, Juvenile Sentimental, English Combine and Afrikaans Moppie.
The 24 teams are split into two sections, half will compete for this week and the remainder next week.
All tickets to be bought at Computicket outlets.
Adults pay R50, while children and pensioners pay R30 and gates open at 11 am.
The event starts at 1.30 pm and ends at 11 pm.
Over at Florida Park in Ravensmead, the Cape District Minstrel Board will compete for items including Juvenile Combine Chorus, Adult Sentimental and Grand March Pass.
Gate entry fee is R30 for adults, pensioners and those with disabilities enter free, children pay R20. No cooler boxes allowed. No Cape Town Minstrel Carnival Association events are scheduled for this weekend.
