The Artscape Theatre is dedicating 18 days to woman-themed events and plays, so ladies, dress up in your best outfits and shimmer, because life’s a drag, anyway.
This weekend, the Absolutely Fabulous Drag Show returns for a second time since its inception last year.

There will be two shows, one at 3pm and another at 8pm.
Cape Town’s top drag divas Vida Fantabisher, SA’s Got Talent 2016 runner-up Manila von Teez, as well as Kat Gilardi, Jayde Kay Johnson and Angel Lalamore of cabaret 3D trio fame, will showcase the drag lifestyle’s present-day glory.
Musical director Camillo Lombard will keep things in tune, while Basil Appolis cracks the whip as production director. Tickets cost R100.
The Pizza Shack in Ottery is hosting a weekend of Women’s Day activities starting today with a Ladies Night for Ladies Only, featuring DJs Kurt Busch, Bubu and Junior.
On Saturday, Vuvu Khumalo will keep the ladies entertained with her sultry voice and sexy dance moves. Ladies enter free and there will be a free shooter on arrival.
The patsy is from 3pm until 7pm.
End off the weekend with your girls at the Sunday Night Live show, featuring Sammy Webber, Celeste Williams, Didier Richards, Glyn Veldsman and guest Brian Paulse.
The bands strikes up at 5.30pm, and there will be a carvery menu.
