The woman who accused DJ Fresh of rape is allegedly a "liegbek".
Radio jocks Fresh and Euphonik - real names Thato Sikwane and Themba Nkosi - were accused of drugging and raping the woman and three friends 10 years ago.
The jocks were fired from their Radio 94.7 jobs as a result of the allegation.
Fresh responded to his rape accuser’s family, following a statement heavily criticising him for labelling their daughter a pathological liar, writes IOL.
In a statement the family condemns Fresh’s social media statement in which he said his alleged rape accuser lied about the incident.
He hit back at the family’s statement, saying the accuser’s friend “Michelle” confirmed under oath that the rape allegations were fabricated.
He wrote: “(rape accuser’s) friend and ‘star witness’ also confirms under oath that this is a lie!”
He says they were "granted access to the statements ... of the investigation".
“Michelle" the roommate, whom (rape accuser) claims was with her during the alleged incident, has stated under oath: ’The incident that Siphelele mentioned that I was with her at a Guest House 'B and B'. I was never there. I do not have any knowledge of this incident’."
“As we have said from day one, (rape accuser)’s allegations are nothing but a fabrication.”
The family wants Fresh to retract this “false claim” and his claim that the woman's family contacted him about the case.
Failing which, they demand he identify the relative: “He cannot be naive to think that he can publish such malicious allegations about our daughter and still have the privilege to hide his source.”
This comes after Fresh responded to a tweet by @LIQsingalaka: “Deep down she was lying yey animazi u (rape accuser)...pathological liar this girl.”

The National Prosecuting Authority dismissed the case due to insufficient evidence.
