Rapper Tyga is being sued for over R3m in damages after allegedly dodging his rent and trashing his rental home.
The Ayo hitmaker, 30, is said to have damaged floors, walls and counters before leaving the Beverly Hills huis in April with rent arrears of R500 500.
His former landlord is now seeking over R3.1 million in damages.
According to TMZ, court documents list gouges in the kitchen’s white oak flooring, as well as damage to marble flooring and counters, walls with murals and wallpaper.
The landlord is also die moer in that Tyga allegedly damaged the driveway by installing a basketball hoop without permission and destroyed the entry door by installing new locks.
An attempt to settle the dispute via mediation reportedly failed.
Tyga was previously accused of rent dodging for failing to pay rent at the Beverly Hills house, forcing the owner to take legal action to recover the money and get him out of the house.
In the lawsuit, the BedRock rapper’s son King Cairo, now eight, was named as a defendant as the child’s name was recorded on lease.
