It’s official. Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan is People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2020.
He joins the hottie ranks of previous winners Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba and Ryan Reynolds.
The actor, 33, told People the title gave him “a cool feeling”.
But he admits it is an accolade his brasse are going to make gat of.
“You know, everybody always made that joke, like, ‘Mike, this is the one thing you´re probably not going to get’,’ he says. “But it´s a good club to be a part of.”
But, he says, the women in his family “are definitely proud” of his latest moment of recognition.
“When my grandmother was alive, it [the People magazine Sexiest Man edition] was something that she collected, and then my mom naturally reads it a lot and my aunts as well.
“This is one that they’re definitely going to have a special place for.”
And mense are in agreement that Michael’s a fine choice for the award.
He wrote on Instagram: “My grandma lookin down talkin bout ‘that’s my baby’ Thanks @People for naming me 2020’s #SexiestManAlive!(sic)”
One fan replied: “So damn accurate”, with a heart emoji.

Best known for his villainous Erik Killmonger character in Black Panther, Michael also starred to critical acclaim in Fruitvale Station and the 2015 Rocky boxing sequel Creed.
He’s been working on the upcoming film Journal For Jordan directed by Denzel Washington.
