Things got hot and heavy after Cardi B and her husband Offset’s recording of their first successful collaboration in studio.
The award-winning rapper shared on social media that her decision to appear on the track Um Yea was spontaneous and how they got intimate immediately after.
Cardi, 28, said in a voice tweet: “I don’t want to give you this weird, fake a** romantic, awkward story, but I remember this one time when I was in the studio with Offset and he was doing Um Yea, the song that me and him have together.”
She says while Offset was on the mic, he kept giving her knowing looks: “He kept looking at me and ... smiling and s*** while he was making the song and then I told him I want to get on the song.
“So I just started writing my verse and everything and he was looking at me like, ‘awww s*** girl!’
Right after the recording session ended, she added: “And then we f***ed. We f***ed right after.”
In 2017 the lovebirds met, released Um Yea and tied the knot that same year, somma in their bedroom.
They collabed on other hits, including Lick, Motorsport, and Drip – the latter two tracks include Offset’s fellow Migos stars Quavo and Takeoff.
Cardi filed for divorce in September, but changed her mind two months later.
They share a two-year-old daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus.
