2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten
2 cups plain breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon chilli powder
Cut chicken breast into thin strips, about 2cm wide.
Mix breadcrumbs and seasonings well.
Dip the chicken strips into the egg mixture, then dip in the crumb mixture.
Deep fried until crispy on the outside and lightly browned.
Serve with savoury rice, salads and or chips.
