An alleged member of the Fancy Boys gang has been stabbed to death, apparently by his
father-in-law.
Theo “Tino” De Kock, 28, was knifed in the stomach on Youth Day just after 2.30pm in Smarty Town in Roosendal.
Police say a 60-year-old man, who residents claim is Theo’s skoonpa, was arrested for the murder when he handed
himself over.
Theo was rushed to hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Rumours spread on social media and in the community that Theo was stabbed by a woman.
However, police said they only have one suspect, the elderly male.

SCENE OF KILLING: House in Smarty Town in Roosendal
Sources close to the investigation claim Theo was a member of the Fancy Boys.
Friends of the family say that Theo was the brother of Lorenzo de Kock, 18, who was shot and killed by gangsters in October 2014 in Roosendal.
At the Western Cape High Court last year, a state witness blamed Horatio “Voudie” Solomon, the nephew of Ernie “Lastig” Solomon, for Lorenzo’s death.
Lorenzo was gunned down just hours before his matric valedictory.
The witness claimed that Voudie believed the teen was a spy for the Dixie Boys gang, and that one of the boy’s two older brothers was a member of the same gang.
The man claimed that Voudie instructed gunmen to kill the schoolboy. His death sparked outrage in Delft at the time.
His family told the Daily Voice the teen was innocent.
