Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel was right under our noses in the Mother City, shooting a new movie, and nobody knew about it.
Well, nobody except lucky comedians Goliath and Goliath, who got to rub shoulders with the action man.
The Fast and the Furious star was in South Africa in November 2018 to film scenes for the new Bloodshot movie being released on 13 March at cinemas worldwide.
Joburg-based comedians Donovan and Jason Goliath play the roles of two cops in the fliek.

Due to non-disclosure agreements, no one was allowed to say a word about the movie - until the film premiered in the US this week.
And finally on Monday, Donovan could share a selfie of them with the muscle man on social media, with the caption: “My brother Jason Goliath and I are in Vin Diesel’s new action-packed movie #Bloodshot. Granted we’re only in for a few seconds but what an incredible experience being part of a big Hollywood production. Catch it in cinemas on the 13th March.”
Meanwhile Diesel, 52, took to Instagram to talk about his lekker tyd in Mzansi.
He posted on 7 January: “As we are now less than 3 weeks away from the release of Bloodshot... I was reflecting over the weekend about what an incredible experience it was.
“The studio is singing its praises and talking about just how FUN the film is... but I can’t help but think about how fun and what a great experience it was to film in South Africa with the most amazing cast.”

The film, which was shot mostly in Cape Town, sees Diesel play the character of soldier Ray Garrison, who is brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation.
Donovan tells the Daily Voice he still can’t believe he met Vin.
“I’ve been on various sets a few times but this was on a new level, the sheer scale of this production is amazing, there would be 200 people on set at a time and it seems chaotic but there is a lot of order,” he says.
“It’s very intimidating, I won’t lie, being on set with Vin Diesel, who wouldn’t be intimidated?

“There was one scene where Jason and I were sitting in this police vehicle and Vin was leaning onto the bonnet right where I sat and I said to Jason, yoh, this is Mr Fast and Furious right here.

“You’re on that set and you’re on edge because you don’t want to mess it up because it’s such a big deal.
“This was truly an experience and a story I’ll tell for a long time.”
