Former Idol Jody Williams has proudly showed off her post-pregnancy body on social media, three months after giving birth to a baby girl.
The bubbly new mom tells the Daily Voice it feels great “having her body back” after her first baby, and puts her slim and trim figure down to breastfeeding.
The pint-size singer took to Instagram where she posted a picture of herself in a sexy black and white bikini and captioned it: “Breastfeeding can I get an Amen.”
According to Jody, she did not diet or do any exercise to get back into her size 28 jeans.
“To be honest, all I did was breastfeed. I did it for two months religiously and recently baba went on formula,” she explains.
Jody, 29, and her boyfriend Nicolis Ferreira welcomed baby Dakota Ferreira in February via natural birth.

“I had no stretch marks during my pregnancy, I was trying so hard to avoid them by keeping my skin hydrated at all times, but they got me towards the end,” she laughs.
“I gained pregnancy weight, about 11kg, but I lost it very quickly which I’m thankful for.
“I feel good, but not yet where I would like to be.
“I really need to get back into the gym, I’m lazy in that department, but I’m working on it.
“I eat as per normal and not on any diet.
“After birth, I wore high-waisted pants on days I would go out.”
Jody says motherhood has been taking its toll on her - sleepless nights, burping and poop nappies is no joke - but she is getting used to it.

“I barely have time to answer calls or messages,” she says.
“Motherhood is a beautiful thing and I’m enjoying every moment of it.”
Jody, who won the fourth season of Idols in 2007 at the age of 17, is still on maternity leave with her bundle of joy, but says she has some exciting plans in the pipeline, which she will share at a later stage.
However, some people might be surprised to see where her life is headed.
“I never try to be anything I’m not. We are all people living our own lives, I’m very happy in this new space I’m in,” she adds mysteriously.
