Singer Amy Jones from Paarl is a dainty lady with a huge voice and even bigger dreams.
When Amy, 26, recently told her manager of her dream to perform for the president “one day in the future”, she had no idea how soon her dream would come true.
On Wednesday, the queen of hearts delivered “the performance of a lifetime” when she sang for President Cyril Ramaphosa and other high-ranking politicians at an ANC event.
The Get A Little hitmaker tells the Daily Voice: “Only two weeks ago I said to my manager, one day I will sing for the President, and then a week later we got a call asking for us to sing at an event for the Business Forum and that Mr Ramaphosa will be attending.
“It was an amazing night where I met amazing people and the President,” the excited singer says.

“We had a good laugh and I told him that he is never too old to learn, I can teach him.
“So who knows, we might just have a guitarist president soon.”
“I performed two sets of three songs which had covers and some of my own songs.
