February is the month of love and what better way to get loved up than attend a show that promises you romance and fun.
Cracking the whip and running things for the third time is Robin Pieters, who is back at the Grand Arena at GrandWest with It’s A Love Thing - Vol.3.
Following sold-out performances in 2017 and 2018, Robin has roped in his friends for the show, including Craig Lucas, YoungstaCPT, the Black Ties, Jimmy Nevis and Idols SA 2018 winner Yanga Sobetwa.
Famous for his unique opening acts, Robin says he’s coming back bigger and bolder than before.
The show, presented by Robin and Brukman Consultancy, is set to rock the 5000-seater venue - and Robin says they’ve already sold 4 500 tickets.
“Thinking about how it all began, I didn’t think all this would turn out as amazing as it is right now.
“I was just a back-up singer the other day and look now, it’s bigger than I even dreamt of.”
Robin has performed with international stars such as Tevin Campbell, Tamia, Robin S, Cece Peniston, Sybil, Peaches & Herb and Black Coffee.
But this show, he says, is dedicated to the fairer sex.
“I’m proud to announce that this year is going to be a special one for the ladies,” he says.
The show takes place on 23 February. Tickets, ranging from R115 to R210, are available at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers.
