The KKKA is back at Athlone Stadium on Saturday for the continuation of the second leg of their competition.
Last week saw the first half of 24 troupes compete in the English Combine, Afrikaans Moppie, Juvenile Combine and Juvenile Sentimental categories
This week, the rest of the troupes will do their bit.
All tickets to be bought at Computicket.
Adults pay R50, and children and pensioners pay R30. The gates open at 11 am.
The event starts at 1.30 pm and ends at 11 pm.
Meanwhile, at Florida Park Stadium in Ravensmead on Saturday, nine teams from the Cape Town Minstrel Carnival Association (CTMCA), under the banner of the Cape Town District Minstrels Association, will kick off their competition.
The teams will take part in the Klopse Jol, Best Dressed, Adult Drum Major, Juvenile Drum Major, Best Board, English/Afrikaans Combine and English Comic and Afrikaans Moppie items.
The gate fees are R30 for adults, while kids under 12 pay R20.
The event starts at 3 pm.
