The event, in its 21st year, had the biggest names in show business descending on the Tate Modern.
Leading the glam stakes were Kate Beckinsale in a daring red and white slip of a dress; as well as model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in a glittering silver gown with sexy cut-outs; and Rita Ora, rocking a semi-sheer gown.
Dressed to impress in stunning leopard print was songstress Dua Lipa, who dazzled in a one-shouldered mini dress that showcased her sensational figure.
Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue and Paul Solomons cemented their new relationship as they made their first red carpet outing. The Australian pop diva, 50, dazzled in a plunging gold gown as she cosied up to the handsome magazine editor, 43.
Actress Rose McGowan, 45, became the first female recipient of the Inspiration Award.
She said: “People ask if what I do is for women, it’s not. It’s for men. You’re sold an illusion from birth that you’re better. It’s in you to change and I see you as the humans you are. My platform is one of freedom to humanity. I want women to hate themselves less and know they deserve a seat at the table.”
The awards show honours people who have shaped the world’s cultural landscape over style, politics, entertainment and sport this year, with 22 categories up for grabs.
