Liverpool face a tough road back to the Champions League final after they were handed a testing draw on Thuirsday night.
The Reds, who were beaten by Real Madrid in the Kiev showpiece in May, will face Paris St Germain, Napoli and Red Star Belgrade in Group C.
Manchester United, meanwhile, will face ex-Old Trafford idol Cristiano Ronaldo and his new team Juventus in Group H. They are joined by Valencia and Swiss champions Young Boys.
Premier League champions Manchester City will be in the hunt for their first European title after drawing Shakhtar Donetsk, Lyon and German debutants Hoffenheim.
Tottenham got the deadliest draw of the English teams.
They play Barcelona, PSV Eindhoven and Inter in Group B, where Mauricio Pochettino’s manne are the only club never to win the title of kings of Europe.
The tournament kicks off on September 18 and teams will battle it out to reach the June 1 final, which will be played at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano.
