Manchester United will keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on as their permanent manager, according to reports.
The Norwegian has won all eight of his matches since taking over from Jose Mourinho last month.
United have been a completely transformed squad in his time at the helm.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku are playing with purpose and smiles after looking like they had no lus under the Special One.
That quartet was once again one song on Friday night as United beat Arsenal 3-1 to advance to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Sanchez scored the opener on his return to the Emirates for the first time since leaving the Gunners last January.
Lukaku set up Jesse Lingard to put United 2-0 up and Pogba led the counter that saw a Martial tap in United’s third after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had pulled one back for the hosts.
And UK tabloid The Mirror claims that United bosses are happy to keep Solskjaer in charge with the players backing him to the hilt.
A club insider tells The Mirror: “It is going fantastically well under Ole, but the club is sticking with a process that will not be concluded until the summer.”
United midfielder Ander Herrera has lifted the lid on how Ole has made the team tick again.
The Spaniard says: “We are playing with no limits, yes – it’s exactly what Ole brought to the team since the first day.
“We enjoy scoring goals and we enjoy defending together.
“You can see that, when we are playing free with a smile and everyone is playing for each other, the results come easier. We are doing great.”
