Last season’s runners-up Liverpool completed a full house of English teams in the last eight of the Champions League.
Sadio Mane scored twice and Virgil van Dijk once to hand Liverpool a 3-1 victory at Bayern Munich to book their place in the quarterfinals.
After the last-16 first leg ended goalless at Anfield, five-times European champions Liverpool took control in Munich, bossing the game to join Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the top eight of Europe.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp couldn’t be a happier man and says: “It is a wonderful Champions League night for Liverpool again and that is good.
“The desire was outstanding.
“We’ve laid down a marker tonight that Liverpool Football Club is back on the top level of European football.”
Joining the four English clubs in today's draw for the quarterfinals are Spain’s Barcelona, Italy’s Juventus, Portugal’s Porto and Eredivisie side Ajax Amsterdam.

Barca and Liverpool were the last two sides to book their spots in the quarters, with the former beating Lyon 5-1 in their second leg after the first tie ended in a goalless draw in France.
The Reds, meanwhile, will now shift their attention to Sunday’s Premier League trip to second-from-bottom Fulham, knowing a win in that encounter will see them take pole position in the race for the title.
Rivals Manchester City are playing in the FA Cup against Swansea this weekend, but will have a game in hand after this weekend.
