Australia will have to look after their ball possession if they wish to cause an upset in their Rugby Championship match against New Zealand in Perth on Saturday.
Utility back Reece Hodge believes tells Stuff New Zealand: “The past couple of [matches] we’ve probably let ourselves down.
“The main area of disappointment has been when we’ve forced those turnovers with defence, we’ve given it straight back to the opposition.
“That’s a big focus for us this weekend and we know how dangerous New Zealand can be if you let them have loose ball.”
The Wallabies might also unleash a special weapon in David Pocock on Saturday.
Returning from long-term injury, star flanker Pocock has not yet played for the Aussies this year and has been training behind closed doors in Perth.
Should he be selected alongside captain Michael Hooper, the Wallabies are expected to be a force at the breakdown.
