SA’s Kagiso Rabada has maintained his second spot in the latest Test bowling rankings released on Monday.
The rankings were released after the conclusion of the weekend Test matches featuring hosts England against Australia and Sri Lanka against the touring New Zealand.
South Africa, and Rabada, last played Test cricket in February when Sri Lanka ran out 2-0 victors in a two-match series.

The 24-year-old Rabada has played 37 Test matches and has taken 177 wickets at an impressive average of 21.77. Rabada has 851 ranking points, well behind Australian Pat Cummins in top spot with 914.
England’s James Anderson is third on 823 with SA’s Vernon Philander fourth on 813.

Among the Test batting rankings, South Africa have three players in the top-10.
They are led by Aiden Markram at number six and Quinton de Kock in seventh, and captain Faf du Plessis holds 10th position.
The now-retired Hashim Amla bows out at 16th in the rankings.

In the team rankings, South Africa are third with 108 points. India are at the summit with 113 points, closely followed by New Zealand on 111.
England hold fourth place with 105 points, and Australia are some way behind on points with 98 in fifth position.
