Hamlets threw the cat among the pigeons by beating Franschhoek 19-15 in a close-fought encounter in Mamre on Saturday.
With the win, the hosts confirmed that they will make a serious case for promotion come the end of the season.
And with struggling Busy Bees lying in wait on Saturday, they will in all likelihood climb even higher up the Super League B ladder this weekend.
Egged on by their band and vocal fans, teams travelling to Mamre will have a trip as Franschhoek found out.
Hurting Franschhoek, though, are on the road again this week, travelling to Bellville.
And while they will look to return to winning ways, Franschhoek will know it won’t be easy against a team that hasn’t lost yet this season.
There are only two other SLB matches taking place this weekend.
St Georges, who beat Macassar 48-18 in a high-scoring Strand derby last weekend, travel to bottom-of-the-log Young Peoples in a match they are expected to win.
With one defeat in their five matches to date, St Georges are hot on the heels of log leaders Kuilsrivier.
Kuila, though, would like to keep the one-point buffer between them and the team from Strand when they travel to that area to face Macassar on Saturday.
