Bus and taxi commuters have been left stranded after chaos erupted in the City Centre.
It’s alleged that taxi drivers started stoning buses after blocking several roads leading to the terminus around 4pm on Tuesday.

It’s reported that bus drivers and passengers had to flee for their safety as they were allegedly being attacked and threatened by taxi drivers.
Many empty buses were also seen leaving the terminus.
A woman who was inside a bus on her way to Hout Bay, says passengers had to get off the bus after they were allegedly threatened by taxi drivers.
"They (taxi drivers) threw us out of the bus. I was in the bus already they were ready to move when they (taxi drivers) came running to us and told us to get out otherwise they are going to kill us," she said.
Angus McKenzie, Portfolio Chairperson for Transport said: "The action of taxi drivers in the City Centre this afternoon must be condemned in the strongest possible terms.
"This lawless behaviour must be dealt with by the SAPS and those individual taxi driver and operators must be dealt with in the strongest possible terms.
"Disrupting peak hour traffic in this manner and all other illegal activities taking place cannot and will not be accepted.
"We call on all Law Enforcement officials to immediately ensure that calm is restored and that those responsible are dealt with.
"We will not negotiate with individuals acting in an illegal fashion"
