A 28-year-old woman from Tambo Village has been taken in for questioning after cops found a foetus in her toilet on Tuesday night.
According to a source, the grim discovery was made by the woman’s landlady after they found other toilets on the property were blocked, shortly after 6pm.
“She got a skrik when she found it and called the police. Apparently the lady who was taken in, is the only one that uses that particular toilet,” says the source.
“The landlady says the toilet has been blocked since Sunday and when she went to check, she found the baby girl in the pot.
“They told us that it was not carried to full term and appeared to be about four or five months.”
The source says cops quickly cordoned off the toilet after seeing the bloody foetus. The woman remained toebek about what had happened.
“There wasn’t any toilet paper in the pot, just lots of blood. When the woman who uses that toilet was questioned, she said on Sunday she needed to make a number two and went to the toilet.
“Afterwards she felt relieved. She didn’t want to say anything, but said she was on her periods. She did not deny it was hers, but she gave a statement.”
