Charlize Theron has called action man Steven Seagal a vetgat who can’t fight.
The 44-year-old actress, who has upcoming films Atomic Blonde 2 and The Old Guard, said she’s glad to challenge male action heroes for screen time.
Speaking on The Howard Stern Show on Monday, the star from Benoni said: “When I make a movie (like The Old Guard) at night I’ll go online to watch fighters or watch people fight and you always come across that odd Seagal video of him ‘fighting’ in Japan, but he really isn’t.”
“He’s just incredibly overweight and pushing people.”
While Stern agreed that Seagal, 68, has let himself go, the Oscar winner launched another scathing attack.
‘JY IS `N DIK GAT’: Steven Seagal
“I have no problem talking s*** about him because he’s not very nice to women so ‘f*** you!‘ ” she added.
Two years ago, two women came forward and accused Seagal of sexually assaulting them decades earlier, which Seagal strongly denied.
And in 2017 - during the #MeToo movement - Seagal was one of 262 celebs and politicians accused of sexual misconduct. Actresses Jenny McCarthy, Portia de Rossi and Julianna Margulies came forward to claim they were sexually harassed by Seagal.
Perhaps this explains the gripe Charlize has against him.
She goes on saying: “He’s overweight and can barely fight look it up, it’s ridiculous.”
Charlize says female stars are turning the tide in action films and there’s nothing wrong with fighting like a woman.
“We don’t want to f***ing fight like men,” she said.
“We want to fight smarter.”
