Cancer survivors and those who have lost loved ones to the dread disease will take part in the Cansa Relay For Life walk tonight at 6pm until Saturday morning 6am.
The walk is to raise awareness, honour the survivors and pay tribute to those who have lost the battle with cancer.
Teams consist of 10 or 15 people who dress up to a theme and walk around the track during the night.
Two members of each team must be on the track at any time.
Each team pays a R900 commitment fee.
The Cansa Relay For Life Mitchells Plain started 14 years ago and is still going strong so stiek uit at Westridge Sports Field and show your support as it is open to the public.
