Kanye West is being dissed for his latest pro-Trump rek. En dit nogal on Saturday Night Live in New York.
The Wouldn’t Leave rapper, 41, wrapped up the season premiere of SNL with a third musical performance and a lengthy speech supporting the Orange Man that did not make it to air.
Kanye, who switched his name to Ye after his recent album and wearing a Make America Great Again hat, rekked: “Actually, blacks weren’t always Democrats. It’s like a plan they did to take the fathers out the homes and promote welfare. Does anybody know about that? That’s the Democratic plan.”
He went on to defend the Trumpster, while the cast stood shocked, staring at the ground, as the audience booed and clapped halfgat.
The speech was captured by Chris Rock, who posted it to his Instagram Story.
And it didn’t go unnoticed as one person wrote on social media: “Wowwwww only 3 people clapped. Chris Rock is laughing At @kanyewest. (sic)”
In another video circulated on Twitter by hip-hop producer Mike Dean, Kanye suggested the show’s producers didn’t want him to wear the MAGA hat on stage. “They bullied me backstage. They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’”
He also reminded the crowd of his intention to run for president in 2020.
He later tweeted a photo of himself again wearing his red baseball cap and suggested abolishing the 13th Amendment, which he said, “is slavery in disguise.”
But Kanye even got Captain America actor Chris Evans riled up. He tweeted: “There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue.”
Meanwhile, his wife Kim Kardashian West is gaaning aan with her life.
Sources have previously told People magazine that Kim, 37, does her best to support him when he stirs up controversy.
“Does Kim agree with everything Kanye does and says? No, absolutely not,” said the source, adding that “they always have each other’s backs”.
