Say hello to the all-new KwaAce in Khayelitsha.
The wait is over as KwaAce officially reopened on Saturday with newly renovated general and VIP sections.
Formerly known as Groova Lounge, the venue was renamed KwaAce because of owner Bulelani “Ace” Skap.
The revamped KwaAce comes with a new larney VVIP section which offers an “exclusive lounging experience”, complete with a splash pool.
Mandisa Booysen of KwaAce says: “The relaunch comes after months of redesigning the lounge and ensuring everything fits the modern trends.
“KwaAce was only a place for buying drinks, having a good time and going home. Now we have added a food section where people can order shisa nyama with sides, pizza and ribs.”
Each floor also comes with its own bar and DJ, while the VVIP section upstairs overlooks Khayelitsha.
DJ Kent had the ladies screaming with excitement when he came up for his house music set.
A flushed Natrisha Damons said: “This place is really classy, the bathrooms look like a celebrity dressing room and the food is amazing. I love DJ Kent so him being on the line-up is a bonus.”
Everyone went bos for the kwaai line-up, which included Lerato Kganyago, Major League, Bucie and Ed Harris.
