Cape Town’s top musicians united for a good cause this weekend.
The Cape Spy was out at Stellenbosch Town Hall on Saturday night to witness the cream of the crop entertain mense in aid of raising funds for people who suffer from cancer.
The show, titled A Musical Extravaganza with Nur Abrahams, Madeegha Anders and Friends, behoorlik brought the house down with this lekker warme Cape Town cultural jol, just the way we like it mos.
Also on stage were local talents Austin Rose, Brunoraaj, Ashur Petersen, Alen The Car Guard, Mujahid George, Monox and many more.
Organiser Fagrie Patel gathered the stars for one night of pure song and dance, all in aid of Cansa Relay for Life Stellenbosch.
Mense came out in their finest outfits and dancing shoes as Nur serenaded the ladies with his smooth voice.
Alen The Car Guard had everyone laughing for his funny songs such as the popular Kerrie.
The late Taliep Petersen’s talented son, Ashur, took the audience on a journey of acoustic magic on his guitar alongside Austin Rose, before he showed off his kwaai Bruno Mars moves, performing Versace on The Floor and 24K Magic.
The evergreen Madeegha also performed a few ballads before Cape Town’s best kept secret, Nur Abrahams, closed off the show.
