Migael Pretorius was the first call-up last week, while Mpitsang also added former South Africa U19s captain Raynard van Tonder.
Van Tonder is one of three players called up over the weekend, with fellow Test squad newcomer Lutho Sipamla, and allrounder Dwaine Pretorius, who has recovered from a hamstring injury, joining him in the squad.
A statement released by Cricket South Africa reads: “Van Tonder has been exceptional with the bat in this season’s 4-Day Cup.
