Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says his Red Devils are hitting their rhythm ahead of their FA Cup clash with Wolves.
Tonight’s Round Three replay at Old Trafford will be the 14th game the Ole’s men have played since the beginning of December.
The Norwegian says: “Results give you energy.
“Just counting I think this will be our 14th game in 45 days.”
Saturday’s 4-0 over Norwich was just the sort of result the United coach was talking about and he reckons another against familiar foes could really kickstart their campaign.
The former United striker says: “One good result, like Norwich, I think they [the players] all felt good about that one.
“When you’ve got some bad results, we need to mentally work with them to use it as a motivation. As in ‘okay, we’re not there yet, we need to keep working and improving. So, just keep the rhythm’.
“I remember I didn’t play [as many] games, but when I was playing, I felt that we improved as a team when we got the rhythm of match, rest, match, rest, match, rest.”
