The Stormers are expecting some wobbles when they face Edinburgh in the United Rugby Championship tomorrow 6.15pm.
Playing on a synthetic pitch in Scotland, assistant coach Labeeb Levy says it will be an adjustment for the players.
With the Stormers naming their team for the clash today, Levy says of playing on the “alien” surface: “We are playing on a synthetic 4G pitch which also comes with a different dynamic because there will be more bounce in the run, more bounce in the ball.
“We are expecting a wobble here and there.”
After two defeats in the tournament, the Capetonians are hunting their first win.
Levy says they will focus on their own game, instead of over-analysing the opposition.
He explains: “They are moving from being a kicking team, and trying different stuff and trying to have a more rounded game...
“Our team gets confidence by playing more and handling the ball more.”
