Stellenbosch boss Steve Barker warned his Winelanders not to lose their sparkle after their unbeaten start to the season.
Stellies are four points off the top of the PSL ahead of Sunday’s trip to struggling Swallows, who are down in 14th place.
Confidence is high at the club, with the international break also allowing Barker to improve his team chemistry.
He tells the Daily Voice: “We are in a great space after the start we’ve had.
“We just can’t become complacent.
“The confidence is growing in the team, it’s just a matter of keeping that momentum going to get a positive result.”
The Birds, though, will still prove a stern test after reinstating coach Brandon Truter after short suspension, warns Barker.
He adds: “Swallows have had one or two issues this season.
“I’m sure they are desperate to get back to winning ways now.
“And I assume they think that this is an opportunity for them being at home.
“They are always a tough team to break down.”
