Steve Barker admits his Stellenbosch side has to learn to manage games better to see out victories after coming away with a disappointing 2-2 PSL draw with Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday.
Stellies have made a habit of conceding late in matches and dropping points when the pressure is one, leaving them in 10th place with eight games to play this season.
And while going to Soccer City and coming away with a point is no bad thing, Barker hopes they improve their concentration to improve their league position.
Ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Benni McCarthy’s high-flying AmaZulu, the boss says: “It is an area we’ve identified – not managing games in the last ten or fifteen minutes well enough.
“Once again a bit disappointing that twice we took the lead and weren’t able to hold out.”
