Stellenbosch will be rueing their defending after a 2-2 PSL draw at Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday night.
Steve Barker’s manne twice let the lead slip in a slow burner at Soccer City, leaving Stellies on 23 points, one point and a log position behind ninth-placed Amakhosi.

Chiefs midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo hit the post with Sage Stephens at full stretch early on, but there were few chances in the first half.
With 20 minutes to play though the fuse was well and truly lit after the Bolanders survived a penalty shout from Willard Katsande in the 58th.
Stellies were powered ahead by Nathan Sinkala’s 72nd-minute header from a corner.
But their lead only lasted seven minutes as Leonardo Castro equalised with a glancing header from Reeve Frosler’s cross five minutes later as Chiefs turned up the heat.
Stellies, though, hit the front again when Chiefs coach Gavin Hunt’s former Wits midfielder Phathutshedzo Nange thumped home another header to put the visitors ahead in the 80th with 10 minutes to play.
But the drama wasn’t over as Nkosingiphile Ngcobo equalised with five regulatory minutes to play.
Both teams looked for a winner, but neither side could land the knockout blow with the teams slugging it out until the end.
