All Blacks superstar Sonny Bill Williams might make his return to the field against South Africa in the Rugby Championship on Saturday.
Williams, who has been out of action for three months because of a shoulder injury, has recovered in time for the match and coach Steve Hansen says he will consider him for the match against South Africa.
Hansen explains: “Sonny, he’ll get an X-ray [on his shoulder] again and if everything’s clear there, he’ll be available as well.
“Rieko [Ioane] will [also] be available, so whilst we’re losing a couple, we’re getting a couple back on deck as well.”
Hansen will have to do without lock Brodie Retallick and centre Ngani Laumape after they suffered injuries against Argentina last weekend.
But Ryan Crotty and Sam Cane - who both missed the last match with knocks to the head, will also be in contention for selection against the Boks.
