Tottenham ace Heung-Min Son insists they still have the gees to turn their season around, as they target the Europa League.
Spurs have fallen to ninth in the Premier League, four points off the top four, winning just one of their last three league games and getting knocked out of the FA Cup this month.
But with 13 goals for the season, Son points to their League Cup final against Manchester City in April and Europe as opportunities to end their 13-year wait for a trophy.
Ahead of their trip to Budapest to take on Austrian side Wolfsberger due to Covid-19 travel restrictions, the Korean says: “We dropped some points in the Premier League and we’re out of the FA Cup.
“If you think about that then it’s negative but we’re in the Europa League and in the final of the League Cup. We go there with good energy.”
With Spurs taking on high-flying West Ham in the league on Sunday, Mourinho is wary of going out all guns blazing tonight.
The “Special One” says: “The team that I’m going to pick is the strongest I can pick for the game.
“Last week we played two games in a very short space, so of course I would like to play with all my first choices but that is not possible. The players that are playing are good players.”
