With Eden Hazard in the bag, Real Madrid are ready to make Paul Pogba their next galactico signing.
Hazard finally completed his long-awaited move from Chelsea to the Bernabeu on Friday on a five-year deal.
The 28-year-old Belgian wrote to Blues fans on Facebook, saying: “Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date.
“Now it’s in the open I would like to put on record one thing was always clear to me, I have loved every moment at Chelsea and not once did I ever consider, nor would I have left for any other Club.”
The initial transfer fee of £85m could rise to as much as £130m with add-ons after Real had a busy week of signings, bringing in Porto defender Eder Militao and striker Luka Jovic from Porto and Eintracht Frankfurt respectively.
But boss Zinedine Zidane is not done with his revamp of his squad as he looks to improve on closing the 19-point gap between them and champions Barcelona and a quarterfinal Champions League exit.
And Manchester United midfielder Pogba is next on his wanted list.

Real are ready to let go of out-of-favour winger Gareth Bale in order to get hold of United’s record signing, and negotiations reportedly began yesterday between the clubs for the £150m-rated Frenchman moving to the Spanish capital.

Reports claim United will play hardball over Pogba and hope to land Bale on a cut-price loan deal rather than lose the France star.
