Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in denial about Paul Pogba’s future as a Red Devil.
Despite Pogba’s agent saying his client is “in the process of leaving the club” and Pogba adding that he wants “a new challenge”, Solskjaer says it’s just “agents’ talk” and that the media have an agenda against the French star.
With Real Madrid and Juventus interested in the World Cup winner, Solskjaer says: “Agents talk all the time.
“As I said, we’ve not had any bids from any clubs.
“That’s all I can say about this matter.
“There is an agenda against Paul, he’s a top, top bloke.
“A great professional, there’s never been any problems and he’s got a heart of gold.
“As far as I am aware and up to now, we don’t have any bids for any of our players.”
And even if they get bids for star players, with Romelu Lukaku and Victor Lindelof being linked with moves to Inter Milan and Barcelona, United won’t get bullied into selling their assets.
A sterkgevriet Solskjaer says: “We are Man United - we don’t have to sell players.”
