Raheem Sterling struck on either side of halftime as Manchester City beat Crystal Palace 3-1 at Selhurst Park on Sunday.
The win lifted City to the top of the Premier League standings briefly, with Liverpool overtaking them again with their 2-0 win over Chelsea later that Sunday evening.
Sterling, though, was in the form of his life, finishing a Kevin de Bruyne move from a tight angle for his first goal as City dominated Palace.
His second strike came from a Leroy Sane pass, which he struck home with a first-time shot in the 63rd minute.
When Luka Milivojevic hit back for Palace in the 82nd minute, City were worried.
But substitute Gabriel Jesus settled those late anxieties by firing past Vicente Guaita after being set up by De Bruyne in the final minute.
