Sports stars from all around the world are donating to the effort to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, with the best doing their bit now.
With 11 Ballon d’Ors between them, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have teamed up to help medics on the frontline.
According to reports, Argentina and Barcelona superstar Messi has donated 1m Euro to Hospital Clinic in Spain, where cases have passed 40 000 with 3 000 deaths.

Messi’s donation matches that of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola. The Barcelona native donated to the purchase and production of medical supplies to an overwhelmed healthcare system.
Ronaldo, meanwhile, gave to hospitals in his country of Portugal.
