Liverpool believes that their ability to score late is not fluke as they look to maintain their unbeaten Premier League run at Burnley on Wednesday night (9.45 pm).
Rightback Trent Alexander-Arnold says: “It’s important for us to stay in the game. Keeping a clean sheet gives us the foundation to go and do these things.
“If we’re 1-0 down and score in the last minute it’s only 1-1. So, it’s important to keep the clean sheet. It’s massive for us.”
Coach Jurgen Klopp, meanwhile, has been charged for misconduct for his pitch invasion after Liverpool’s late score to beat Everton 1-0 last weekend.
