Manchester United head to the Camp Nou on Tuesday, knowing they have to play out of their skins if they want to get past hosts Barcelona in the Champions League quarterfinal
Trailing 1-0 after losing the first leg at Old Trafford thanks to a Luke Shaw own-goal, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows they have a tough assignment ahead of them in the Tuesday 9pm clash.
But Solskjaer is a man with a plan and says: “We know that if we are at our best [anything can happen].
“We had them flustered at times [in the first leg at Old Trafford] as well. Yes, they controlled the game towards the end, they had the possession but they never really bothered us in our own half.
“We have a decent plan, I hope. I hope it’s decent. It’s a plan anyway.”
Striker Romelu Lukaku adds: “We have to be confident and go to the Camp Nou with passion and generate more chances.
“We must be very smart about the moments we can go forward and the moments we can’t. [The last-16 win against Paris] gives us some confidence, of course, but it’s Barcelona. And if there is one team that can make the difference against any team, it’s them.”
