Brazil star Neymar has declared his loyalty to current
club Paris Saint-German and played down speculation linking him to
Spanish giants Real Madrid.
"I'm staying. I have a contract," Neymar was quoted by Brazilian
media at function for his charitable foundation in Sao Paulo on
Thursday. "I came here for a challenge, new things, a goal. Nothing
has changed."
Reports in Spanish media have suggested Real could move for Neymar
having recently sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Serie A champions Juventus.
"The media invent stories," Neymar said. "That is a bit boring. But
everyone knows my love for PSG and the fans.'
Neymar, 26, moved to Paris a year ago in a world record 222 million
euro (264 million dollar) transfer from Barcelona.
His contract with PSG runs to 2022 and does not have a buy-out
clause.
Real have also dampened the rumours of a potential move to the
Spanish capital, saying they had "no plans to make any offers for the
player."
