Manchester United are so bad that boss Jose Mourinho has warned his manne that if they play the way they did on the weekend, they will lose to Young Boys on Tuesday night.
Struggling United played to a frustrating goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Saturday at Old Trafford.
And they will be back in front of their fans for a 10pm kickoff against Switzerland's Young Boys with a victory guaranteeing them a place in the Champions League last-16, should Juventus beat Valencia in other Group H action.
Jose says his team lacked heart after this weekend's Premier League draw and warns if they don’t get that right in the rol against the Swiss, their European hopes will take a hit tonight.
The Special One says: “[There was] not enough intensity, not enough desire. If we play with the same philosophy against Young Boys then we don’t win.”
Red Devils defender Chris Smalling urged his team to make their early chances count in order to seal the victory and not leave it late like they did in their comeback at Juventus.
The centreback adds: “We can’t always leave it to the last minute and we needed to get that goal earlier.
“It will be good to get out in front of this crowd again [against Young Boys] and show a better performance.”
