Manchester City made it six Premier League wins in a row with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.
After Bernardo Silva broke the deadlock in the 16th minute, the champions took their foot off the gas and Callum Wilson levelled things up one minute before half time.
Raheem Sterling got City in front again and they then turned on the style to complete the victory, with David Silva and Leroy Sane combining to create an easy chance for Ilkay Gundogan to finish – the 22nd goal City have scored during this winning league run of six.
And Pep said afterwards: “A good win; after the Champions League it is always tough.
“People think it’s easy for us but that is not the truth so I like to win in this way.”
