Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants his Manchester United players to bots, saying it will help raise their standards.
Solskjaer and his manne are in Dubai on a training camp preparing his team for their assault on the Premier League top four after winning five games in a row since Jose Mourinho was sacked last month.
While the squad is much better spirits now, the Norwegian reveals that the players have been hard at work and there have even been a couple of arguments between his stars.
And he wants more of that, saying: “You don’t have to be best friends. The team spirit is great. We had one or two fights, but that’s just the demand, the standards you set.
“If the session ends with a little bit of a quarrel I don’t mind that, because it means they’re winners, they want to improve.
“If you settle for losing in training, you’ll lose in a game when it really matters.
“It’s a long, hard season. You’ve got to deal with the wins, defeats, setbacks and players not playing.
“They all want to play, but they all want the best for their mates and everyone understands it’s a team game.”
The Red Devils’ next assignment is a Premier League trip to Wembley to face third-place Tottenham on Sunday in what Solskjaer has called his “first proper test”.
