Liverpool fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold believes they can stretch their unbeaten run and book their place in the Champions League semifinal when they play Porto on Wednesday evening.
The Reds travel to Portugal on the back of a 2-0 win at home in the first leg.
Unbeaten in 16 matches in all tournaments since losing to Wolves 2-1 in the third round of the FA Cup back in January, the Reds have won 11 of those matches and drawn five.
The 20-year-old Alexander-Arnold believes they’ve got momentum on their side and says: “It’s always about momentum in football.
“When you’re in amongst the wins and grinding out the results, you can’t wait to get to the next game.”
Liverpool’s last visit to Porto in last season's Champions League saw them give their hosts a 5-0 hiding and while Alexander- Arnold is not expecting the same winning scoreline this time around, he wants the team to draw confidence from that result.

He adds: “Obviously we have fond memories of Porto last season, so we’re looking to go there and hopefully replicate what we’ve done.
“We know it’s going to be tough, it’s going to be a difficult test for us.
“Hopefully we’ll go there and keep up the momentum.”
Porto boss Sergio Conceicao, meanwhile, has also warned the Reds that they shouldn’t think that they’ll get the win easy this time around.
He says: “There are still 90 minutes left in the tie and I call on all our supporters to turn out and create the same atmosphere as against Roma [in the last-16 home leg].
“We will, of course, give everything on the pitch to try to get through.”
