Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp warned his all-conquering Reds do have limits as they ready for a possible six games before the end of the year.
The Champions League holders beat Salzburg 2-0 on Tuesday night, thanks to quickfire goals by Naby Keita and Mo Salah to take their title defence to next year’s knockout phase.
The next challenge is to build on their eight-point Premier League lead when struggling Watford come to Anfield on Saturday.
Then next week, they do battle in the League Cup and the Club World Cup on two continents in less than 24 hours, going to Aston Villa on Tuesday night before an inter-continental semifinal clash in Qatar on Wednesday night.
