Manchester United star Juan Mata knows that their trip to Chelsea this weekend will be massive.
The Red Devils are looking to put up a United front with continuing feuds between coach Jose Mourinho and stars like Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez.
And with just one win in their last five games, Mata expects a huge challenge against Maurizio Sarri’s joint Premier League leaders.
For the Spanish midfielder, the game carries a deeper significance after spending three seasons at Stamford Bridge.
But Mata warns that United must be at their best form coming back from the international break.
The 30-year-old says: “It will, without doubt, be a special one for me: Chelsea v Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.
“For us, it will be the first test from a tough run of fixtures, but we are hoping to play at a high level and return home with a win.
“We will finish off October by welcoming both Juventus and Everton to Old Trafford. It is a fixture list that is going to ask for our best football.”
Meanwhile, United have distanced themselves from rumours that the Saudi Arabia crown prince Mohammad bin Salman wants to buy the club.
Reports of a £4bn valuation are doing the rounds, but the Old Trafford giants are firm that the Glazer family are not willing to give up their cash cow, which drew revenue of £676.3m this year.
