Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho reckons his team “shot themselves” after their 2-2 thrilling draw with Arsenal.
Wednesday night’s action saw United come back twice after Skhodran Mustafi’s first-half opener and Alexandre Lacazette’s 68th-minute strike, with Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard equalising respectively.
Both teams had chances to win it, but the draw was United’s fourth Premier League stalemate in a row.
And with Fulham coming to visit Saturday, Mourinho says: “We scored four goals and we drew 2-2, but we score four goals and even in matches like [Wednesday] where we play well we always shoot ourselves.
“Sometimes we miss chances with an open goal, other times it is defensive mistakes, but we had a fantastic spirit and good performances.”
